On January 9, 2007, Apple announced that the rumors of the long-awaited Apple cellular phone, the iPhone, were true.
During the keynote presentation at Macworld Expo, Apple CEO Steve Jobs showed off the device to the public, and announced that the device would be available in June 2007.
And……cue hype and hysteria!
