I agree, handing out porn on the floor would be tacky. That’s why on all my cards (some of which do contain nudity, which some consider porn) I would ask first if people wanted PG or R-rated cards. Everyone, with one exception, asked for R-rated, much to my surprise.

We ended up winning on the White Card and I have not yet received anything… it was supposed to be a $5 dollar card to a sub place. The date now is 7/9/07. It was clearly a bust to begin with and it was a shame I wasted my time for 2 weeks hoping to win something big. I hope they never put it back on the air again. ]]>
Yesterday I was sorting through some old CD’s and I came across one from Belinda Carlisle (Runaway Horses). On the back cover there are 2 “causes” listed, one PETA. Interestingly enough, the 2nd “cause” from a group, Earth Communications Office - anyone remember them? - lists 7 bullet points on how to save the environment. They end with this quote: “We Only Have 10 Years To Save Our Planet It Starts With You and It’s Easy”

]]>TV is all about image, and the producers of Jeopardy! obviously wanted a diverse group. Most of us were seniors, so underclassmen had a better chance of making it on the show. Unfortunately for me, I was in all the overrepresented categories: Caucasian, male, senior (plus the African-American guy was from my university and they certainly didn’t want two of us on the show).
It’s a free market and the producers can put anyone they want on the show.

The next contestant was a woman with a very nice figure in tight clothing including skin tight designer jeans. They did many shots from behind. I found that odd. First, that a woman appearing on national television would not find something more fancy to wear than skin tight jeans and a tight top, both casual wear if you ask me, but also, the constant shots including her buttocks– I don’t recall shots showing the back of the contestants from any game show, including “Millionaire”. That woman didn’t have much knowledge and I wondered how they do the casting, even for “Wheel of Fortune” they have audition stages and the people have to actually have some clue and ability to play.
Lastly though, one contestant was an older man, way over 50, and not attractive.
