Back on November 30, 2006, The Associated Press covered a story about pop-star Britney Spears and her recent baring of her crotch to paparazzi as she partied around Las Vegas and Los Angeles. And that these photos were now all over the Internet, causing ‘net traffic to spike in ridiculous amounts.
Her fans were horrified.
The rest of us were, well…intrigued.
The rush to see the pictures online created an Internet traffic spike, and this blog was no exception to that wave of traffic.
The Britney Spears’ watch was born.
For seven grueling days, I compiled all the buzz and gossip surrounding Britney and her new best friend Paris Hilton, as well as tagger-along Lindsay Lohan — later dubbed the “axis of evil” after being photographed together in Hilton’ Mercedes.
