Today’s Twittering for 2008-09-29
- EPIC FAIL as Dem-controlled House fails to pass the “bailout” bill. Way to go, Pelosi! **sarcasm** #
- Can’t blame this bailout FAIL on the GOP, since 90+ Democrats voted “nay”. Way to get the troops in line, Nancy…. bring on the depression! #
- If Palin’s head explodes from confusion at the debate Thursday, I think that would be bad for McCain’s prez chances…
# - Bright side…. the failed bailout has brought oil down to $95 a barrel! Lower gas and heating oil prices, yaaayy! #
- In her press conference, Pelosi completely glossed over the 94 Dems that voted “nay” and blamed the GOP for the defeat. Incredible! #
- While we all gripe about budget issues in DC, Palin’s state, Alaska, has a budget surplus. And moose stew on the the stove!
# - LOL at Barney Frank, offering to go talk “uncharacteristically nice to” offended GOP members that changed their vote on the bailout. #
- @KenShane So it’s OK that 90+ Dems voted against the plan? They’re excused? Give me a break! Pelosi failed to get her own party’s votes. #
- Obama can’t lead his own party reps to a bailout plan…. neither can Pelosi. How can we continue to vote for them? #
- Let’s not forget that a vast majority of the American people were AGAINST the bailout plan, so reps voted accordingly on both sides. #
- @jrock341 Exactly… for once, reps listened to their constituents and voted how they wanted them to vote. Now, rewrite it the right way… #
- I wish both McCain and Obama would put THEIR plan in writing on their campaign sites, so we can judge for ourselves who’s right…. #
- … but they never will, because it would hold them accountable and would give each other fodder for more negative ads. Sad… #
